Method Sports & Fitness is searching for a Head Group Fitness Instructor. Method is a new sport performance facility located in North Ridgeville, Ohio providing professional caliber training for athletes at all levels and adult fitness clients. We are looking for experienced, high energy candidates for heart rate based group fitness classes.

The Head Group Fitness Instructor will aide in the evolution and implementation of the adult fitness programs. She/he will exemplify the culture of Method Sports & Fitness through the implementation of the program. She/he will also aid in building a client base that contributes to departmental revenues by maintaining an existing client base, marketing programs and services, and utilizing the highest quality of customer service.

This is a part-time, hourly paid position. Candidates must have availability for early morning adult fitness classes and possible late afternoon athlete training. Interested candidates may submit a resume and contact info.

Job Requirements

• Responsible for organization and cleanliness of the training floor, as well as other areas of the facility
• Responsible for marketing, community outreach reach to grow the business
• Responsible for building attendance, retaining current clientele and achieving monthly revenue budgets
• Responsible for follow up communication with new, current and former clients
• Handles member concerns in a professional, objective manner with the goal of resolution
• Must understand heart rate focused training programs and science
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Demonstrates knowledge of the product, market, and competition
• Ability to create a positive, high energy studio environment
• Experience in leading a fitness workout in a group setting
• An understanding of discussing and evaluating the fitness goals of new members
• Excellent verbal and communication skills
• Enthusiastic, energetic, personable and friendly disposition
• Passion for health and wellness
• Team player
• Willing and able to work nights, weekends and holidays

• Bachelor’s Degree; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must hold and maintain a current fitness certification from NSCA, ACSM, AFAA, and NASM
• Must hold and maintain a current CPR certification
