Job Summary:

The Group Fitness Manager reports directly to the Director of Group Fitness. And is responsible for impacting the Group Fitness performance across multiple clubs to ensure programming answers the demographic needs. Must provide strong leadership to instructors and partner with club leadership. The GFM is responsible to execute the company scorecard standards and achieve GF penetration results.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Demonstrated initiative as an independent thinker with advanced problem solving skills

Ability to analyze numerical data and analytics

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively with internal company departments and business partners

Demonstrated ability to prioritize

Working knowledge of Word, Power Point, Excel

Practical and technical knowledge of Group Fitness is required

Demonstrated social media influence utilizing Facebook and Instagram

Demonstrated ability in outstanding leadership, communication and interpersonal skills

3-5 years of experience in progressive fitness/group exercise management preferred

Significant travel is required for this position to potentially include overnight travel

Work Environment/ Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, changes in temperature/humidity; moving mechanical parts and vibration and exercise equipment; frequently required to stand, walk 4-8hours/8 hour day; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms; and frequently use both feet and move them forward/backward and side to side; seldom required to sit; frequently to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and continuously reach and twist, including side-to-side movements; must continuously lift/move/carry 25 pounds; frequently lift/move/carry up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift/move/carry 51 or more pounds.
