J Train (www.jtrainwellness.com), a high-end, boutique personal training studio, is looking for experienced personal trainers that are dedicated to improving health and wellness and want to be a part of our growing, highly successful team. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, hard working, and open to our gym's all-inclusive, individualized system, while bringing their own creative ideas for improvement and prosperity. Our studio is heavily focused on assessment skills and technical knowledge, bringing our clients the highest level of service and individualization. You will have access to industry veterans who are willing to share their experience and knowledge with you as well as opportunity to grow within our business.

Job Requirements

Create individual workout plans for clients based on client goals and fitness objectives, as well as an assessment of the clients individual muscle/body strengths and weakness. Help client meet fitness objectives by coaching and assisting them in personal training sessions.

Demonstrate the proper use of strength training and cardiovascular equipment and be a knowledgable source of fitness information for clients.

Establish and maintain a professional working relationship with clients - this includes, but it not necessarily limited to: showing up on time; wearing proper attire; maintaining respect and a good rapport with clients; maintaining professionalism at all times; and prompting gym safety.

Log all personal training sessions in accordance with policies and procedures.

Maintain a respectful and professional attitude with all company employees and attend all staff meetings as required. Comply with all company policies and procedures.

Keep up with continuing education requirements for personal training certification.

Education: High school diploma required; college diploma preferred.

Skills/Qualifications: Personal Training certification required (NASM); CPR required; Basic First Aid preferred; AED certification (if required by state); Course work in physical education, nutrition, physiology and exercise science preferred.
