Description :
Make a difference every day while building an exciting career in fitness. As a Restorative Exercise Advisor (REA) at C.O.R.E. Centers you will work one-on-one with members to help them achieve their fitness goals. Be the spark that inspires someone to keep training, to try harder and to live healthier.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
• Demonstrate the value of specialized training by creating an outstanding training experience for new and existing clients
• Make our center easy to use by guiding and educating members and clients on comprehensive fitness programs
• Motivate and inspire clients to get results by setting goals, creating customized workout plans and tracking progress
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive fitness programs based on clients' goals that include appropriate exercise selection and teaching a fitness lifestyle
Qualifications :
• Self-starter, highly motivated
• Understand the principles of physical fitness and how to properly adapt exercise technique to a variety of unique conditions
• Able to coach, motivate and inspire members at every stage of their fitness journey
• Provide exceptional customer service and build a loyal client base
• Professional demeanor with ability to work with diverse groups
• Current Personal Training, CPR and First Aid Certification
• The passion to help people with disabilities
• Maintain a strenuous workload for sustained periods of time
• Experience working with special populations a plus but not required

Certifications / Educational Requirements :
• BS degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology or related field; Master’s degree a plus, but not required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification
• Personal Trainer certification through ACSM, ACE, NASM, NSCA a plus, but not required.
• CSCS certification a plus but not required

Physical Requirements :
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Physical effort required for daily duties include lifting weights, squatting, bending, reaching, spotting, transferring wheelchair bound clients, and prolonged standing/walking
